Sergio’s levels are continuing to be stable in his drug-induced paralysis. This afternoon, he went down to another floor so that a gap study could be preformed. The procedure could about 45 minutes from start to finish. Afterwards when Sergio was brought back to the room, I had the opportunity to look at the images of Sergio’s growing oesophagus. I was delighted with what I saw as its continuing to grow fairly rapidly. To celebrate and congratulate her son, Rosa had a long one-to-one video chat with Sergio through Skype so that she could continue to comfort him.

I saw a poster for the upcoming event at the Burren in Boston, and I’ll be praying for your little boy and your family to pull through this very challenging situation. He certainly looks like a fighter, and I pray that continued progress is on the way. May God bless and comfort you!
