The surgical team are very happy with the growth of Sergio’s esophagus since last Thursday. After studying his daily x-ray, they are quite impressed with its daily growth and have already indicated that if the esophagus continues to grow at this rate then Sergio could be scheduled for his repair operation within the next two weeks. This is a very exciting development and we are so happy with the good news. Also this afternoon Sergio received some beautiful cards and drawings from his cousins in Dublin and we have started to decorate his room with theses pictures. We would also like to thank for the wonderful cards from a Primary class in Milton, Boston.
El equipo quirúrgico está muy contento con el crecimiento del esófago de Sergio desde el jueves pasado. Después de estudiar diariamente los rayos X, estan bastante impresionados con el crecimiento diario y ya han indicado que si el esófago continúa creciendo a este ritmo, la operacion para su arreglo podría ser programada en las próximas dos semanas. Es un desarrollo emocionante y estamos muy contentos con la buena noticia. También esta tarde, Sergio recibió algunas cartas y dibujos hermosos de sus primos en Dublín y hemos empezado a decorar su habitación. También quiero dar las gracias por las maravillosas tarjetas de una clase de Primaria en el pueblo de Milton, en Boston.
