After all the consent forms were signed off, Sergio went for his surgery at 10am. The surgeon rang at 7pm saying that they had just finished and that everything went well. It was too long a day waiting for that phone call to come through but we are so relieved to hear that he is OK. The surgeon explained that Sergio will be back on heavy medication and won’t be allowed to wake up until next Monday at the earliest.
Después de todos los papeles de consentimiento firmados, Sergio fue a la sala de opraciones a las 10am. El cirujano llamo a las 19:00 diciendo que acababa de terminar y que todo habia ido bien. El dia fue demasiado largo esperando esa llamada telefónica, pero ahora estamos muy tranquilos al saber que está bien. El cirujano nos explicó que Sergio estará de nuevo con medicación fuerte y no se le permitirá despertar hasta el próximo lunes como muy pronto.
