Got the news early this morning that Sergio was spiking very high temperatures during the night. This unfortunately means that todays operation had to be cancelled as a precaution. His lab results and chest X-ray show that he may have pneumonia in his right lung. Sergio himself is in good spirits and you wouldn’t know by the look of him that he was brewing this infection. He is now on antibiotics and the real drawback is that he can’t go to theatre for another week or so until he gets the all clear. On the plus side, Sergio had loads of time to have some quality cuddles with his Dad.
Esta mañana nos dieron la noticia de que Sergio tuvo fiebre alta durante la noche. Esto, lamentablemente, significa que la operación de hoy tuvo que ser cancelada como medida de precaución. Los resultados de laboratorio y radiografía de tórax muestran que puede tener neumonía en el pulmón derecho. Sergio está de buen ánimo y no parecia por su aspecto que estuviera cogiendo una infeccion. Ahora está con antibióticos y el inconveniente es que él no puede ir a la sala de operaciones por una semana más o menos hasta que consiga el visto bueno. Por el lado positivo, Sergio tuvo un montón de tiempo para tener algunos mimos con su papá
