Happy Memorial Day! Little Sergio is having a good day with his vital levels all within the accepted range. We just have to be patient now as it’s all about playing the waiting game for the next couple of weeks. We know that it’s going to take a long time for his newly joined esophagus to properly heal up and become stronger in structure. At this stage of the treatment, the surgeons look out for any signs of leakages in the esophagus walls and thankfully Sergio hasn’t presented any such signs since his last major surgery on Friday.
Sergio está teniendo un buen día con sus niveles vitales estables. Sólo tenemos que tener paciencia ahora que todo se trata de esperar en las proximas dos semanas. Sabemos que va a pasar mucho tiempo para que el esófago recien unido sane adecuadamente y se haga mas fuerte en su estructura. En esta etapa del tratamiento, los cirujanos supervisan cualquier señal de fugas en las paredes del esófago y por suerte Sergio no ha presentado ninguna de esas señales desde su última importante cirugía el viernes.
