Sergio’s levels are nice and stable today. Yesterday morning he received a blood transfusion and when it was completed, the color in his cheeks returned to a healthy looking glow. His daily chest x-ray is showing that his esophagus is growing steadily at a rate of 1mm per day. Therefore he has been scheduled for another gap-study this coming Wednesday afternoon. This gap-study will give the surgeons a more accurate measure of the gap in his esophagus. Sergio received some beautiful cards and lovely drawings from his cousin in Spain and we have decorated his room with these pictures as well. The room is beautiful now with all the drawings together on the wall.
Los niveles de Sergio estan bien y estables en la actualidad. Ayer por la mañana Sergio recibió una transfusión de sangre y cuando se terminó, el color en sus mejillas volvieron con brillo saludable. El test de rayos X diario mostro que su esófago está creciendo de manera constante a un ritmo de 1 mm por día. Por lo tanto, ha sido programado para el otra prueba para ver el distanciamiento del esofago para el miércoles por la tarde. Este estudio le dará a los cirujanos una medida más exacta del distanciamiento en el esofago actualmente. Esta vez Sergio recibió algunas hermosas cartas y dibujos de sus prima en España y hemos decorado su habitación tambien con estos dibujos. La habitacion esta preciosa ahora con todos los dibujos juntos.
