If one was to judge how well Sergio was merely by his playful mood then you would think that Sergio was doing great. However the reality is that several episodes of vomiting and refluxing over the last 2 days have started to cause us some concern. Sergio’s feeds have been stopped and he has been put back on the CPAP ventilator as a precaution. It’s quite a strange thing to said but we’re hoping that it’s just a passing stomach bug and that it isn’t related to the last Nissen surgery. We managed to finally get Sergio off his morphine medication with no withdrawal symptoms so that’s the good news from today, he looks very happy.
Si tenemos que juzgar lo bien que Sergio esta por su estado de ánimo entonces se podría pensar que Sergio lo esta haciendo muy bien. Sin embargo, la realidad es que varios episodios de vómitos y reflujo en los 2 últimos días nos han empezado a causar cierta preocupación. La alimentacion de Sergio se ha tenido que parar y se ha sido puesto de nuevo el ventilador CPAP como medida de precaución. Es algo muy extraño de decir pero esperemos que sea sólo un virus estomacal que pasa y que no está relacionado con la última cirugía de Nissen. Las buenas noticias de hoy es que finalmente a Sergio le quitaron la morfina sin síntomas de abstinencia y se le ve muy feliz.
