It’s quite remarkable the rate in which Sergio is recovering his former strength and mobility. He was in brilliant form all day today. We received a wonderful treat today from the ICU team as they kindly organized for Sergio to go visit the garden for an hour in the afternoon. It’s the first time since Sergio arrived in Boston that he has been allowed outside for fresh air and he loved every minute of it. He was a bit taken back when in first contact with the sun in his eyes but once in the shade, he was smiling and laughing with Mammy the whole time. He was also amazed to see all the trees and wildlife in the beautiful garden that is on the hospital campus. What a wonderful day had by all.
Es muy notable la velocidad a la que Sergio está recuperando su fuerza y movilidad. Hoy estuvo de una forma brillante durante todo el día. Tuvimos el verdadero placer de que el equipo de la UCI organizo para Sergio ir a visitar el jardín durante una hora por la tarde. Es la primera vez desde que Sergio llegó a Boston que se le ha permitido salir para tomar aire fresco y Sergio le encanto cada minuto que paso en el jardin. El primer contacto directo con el sol en la cara hizo que a Sergio le extranara, pero una vez en la sombra estuvo sonriendo y riendo con Mama todo el tiempo. Se sorprendió también ver todos los árboles y la vida silvestre en el hermoso jardín que se encuentra en el campus del hospital. Qué día tan maravilloso.
