A wonderful day was had by all at “The Burren Fundriaser for Sergio” in Summerville, Boston. The well-attended family event had plenty of entertainment with music, song and dance being provided all-day long by very talented local artists. It was amazing to see the amount of people who came to show their support and love for Sergio and we are extremely grateful for their kind generousity. Sergio O’Connor’s family would like to thank Willie Lyons and his family; Barry, Brian and Neill for organising a super night of ‘White Collar Boxing’ in Innis Fail’s GAA Club on the 21 April. There was a great atmosphere and the boxing was tremendously exciting. The boxers spent months preparing and it showed in the ring; they were fit as fiddles. The hunting of the wren happened on both sides of the Liffey with Eoghan Scott coordinating the mummers on the Southside and the strawboy members of Ceoltóirí Chluain Tarbh visiting pubs and GAA clubs on the Northside of the city.
