The Infection Control Department of the hospital have informed us today that Sergio has been cleared of “caution protection”. This is wonderful news as it means that Sergio and Tadhg can use the activity and playrooms in the hospital for the first time. The setup of the playroom is very impressive with plenty of toys to play with and needless to say the boys didn’t want to leave the room. Sergio had an esophagram done today but we won’t know the full results until tomorrow as due to busy schedules, the surgical team were unavailable to give their feedback on reading the scans.
El Departamento de Control de Infecciones del hospital nos han informado hoy de que Sergio ya no tiene la “protección de precaución”. Esta es una gran noticia, ya que significa que Sergio y Tadhg pueden utilizar las salas de juegos en el hospital por primera vez. La configuración de la sala de juegos es muy impresionante, con un montón de juguetes para jugar y no hace falta decir que los chicos no quieren salir de la habitación. Sergio tuvo un esofagograma hecho hoy, pero no sabremos los resultados completos hasta mañana debido a los horarios ocupados, el equipo quirúrgico no pudo decir nada de esos resultados.
