Sergio had a good night sleep last night. This morning we were able to take him out of his bed to sit up in his chair which he really loved. Tadhg came over to visit and it was lovely to see the two boys happily playing with other. Tadhg was tickling Sergio’s toes which he thought was hilarious. There was a little bit of pinching and scratching going on as well but it was all in good spirits. In the afternoon Sergio had some desaturation episodes which he recovered quickly from. He holds his breath during these episodes and hence the saturation levels drop rapidly. Tomorrow they are going to take out his PIC line from his right arm because a rash has formed around the site. They have to do this as this will help prevent the spread of this rash.
Sergio durmio bien la noche anterior. Esta mañana hemos sido capaces de sacarlo de la cama para sentarlo en la silla y le ha encantado. Tadhg vino a visitarle y fue una maravilla ver a los dos niños felices jugando mutuamente. Tadhg le hacía cosquillas en los pies a Sergio, y él pensaba que era gracioso. Había un poco de pellizcos también, pero todo era en plan de juego y sin hacer mal. Por la tarde, Sergio tuvo algunos episodios de desaturación pero se recuperó rápidamente. Él aguanta la respiración durante estos episodios y por lo tanto los niveles de desaturación (falta de oxigeno) caen rápidamente. Mañana van a quitarle la via de su brazo derecho debido a una erupción que se ha formado alrededor del sitio. Tienen que hacer esto ya que esto ayudará a prevenir la propagación de esta erupción.
